How to Download and Setup Aadhaar App
Follow these simple steps to download and set up the Aadhaar app on your smartphone:
Step 1: Download the App
For Android users, visit the Google Play Store and search for "Aadhaar app" or click the download link above. For iOS users, visit the Apple App Store. Make sure you're downloading the official app published by "Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI)".
The app is completely free and requires Android 5.0+ or iOS 11.0+. Download and install the app on your smartphone. The app size is approximately 15-20 MB.
Step 2: Open App and Add Profile
Open the Aadhaar app after installation. You'll see the welcome screen. Tap on "Add Profile" or the "+" button to add your Aadhaar to the app. You'll need your 12-digit Aadhaar number and access to your registered mobile number.
Enter your Aadhaar number and tap "Next". The app will send an OTP to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP to verify and add your Aadhaar profile to the app.
Step 3: Set Password and Access Services
After successful verification, you'll be asked to set a password or PIN to secure your Aadhaar profile in the app. Choose a strong password that you can remember. You'll need to enter this password every time you open the app.
